Has an MBA from Columbia University, USA and a MA in Economics from Tribhuvan University in Nepal, and has participated in national/international training and workshops on participatory planning, project cycle management, inter-cultural management, process consulting, and TOT.

Has about 23 years of experience in capacity building, project/program cycle management, facilitation of strategic planning and reviews, evaluation, and organizational diagnosis and development. Has worked in the above areas in South Asia (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka), in Far East and South East Asia (Cambodia, China, Laos, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam), and in Southern Africa (Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi and South Africa). The major clients for various services in these countries have been ADB, DFID, GTZ, His Majesty's Government of Nepal (HMGN), SDC, SNV, the UN System, the World Bank, and national and international NGOs.

In the last 10 years, main achievements have been: (i) design and facilitation of about 500 workshops/training programs on strategic planning and reviews, project cycle management, training of facilitators/trainers, and facilitation of UNDAF Prioritization Retreats in 12 countries; (ii) about 30 assignments related to organizational diagnosis, development and restructuring of development organizations in 3 countries; (iii) about 35 process consulting assignments including project design, strategic planning, implementation support, management reviews and evaluation of projects/programs in 9 countries; and (iv) several recruitment and selection activities resulting in hiring of senior professionals for national and international development organizations in Nepal
