Has Masters in Urban and Rural Planning from the USA and bachelors in Architecture from India. Has also done short course on International Development from Norway and Environment from the Philippines. Has participated in national and international training courses on: Logical Framework and Project Cycle Management, Gender and Development, Participatory Rural Appraisal, Training of Trainers, Child and Women Development, Life Skills and Appreciative Inquiry.

Has over 22 years of professional experience working with various national and international organizations. Has competency in designing, implementing and evaluating development interventions under contracts mainly from development agencies WFP, World Bank, UNDP, GTZ, DfID, EU, SDC, Danida, CIDA, USAID, and SNV, and projects supported by them. Specific achievements during the last 10 years include design and implementation of (i) over 100 training programmes, (ii) over 20 project/program evaluations, studies and assessments, (iii) facilitation of over 50 workshops and seminars.
