Has an MBA degree specializing organizational development and personnel management and a diploma in community-based development (Canada). Has participated in national and international training courses/seminars on: Advanced International Study Program in Peace and Conflict Transformation, European University Center for Peace Studies (EPU), Austria; Conflict Sensitive Development; Participatory Rural Appraisal; Metaplan and Action Learning; Small Business Consultancy (SBC); Training of Trainers on New Business Creation; Gender and Development; Training Techniques (Tehran, Iran); Creativity for Organizational Effectiveness.

Has over 16 years of professional experience in the fields of local level planning/management and organization development, participatory training program design and implementation; promotion of micro and small enterprises under contracts mainly from development agencies like the Gulmi Arghakhanchi Rural Development Project (funded by European Union), Upper Sagarmatha Agriculture Development Project (funded by Asian Development Bank), Nepal-UK Community Forestry Project/DFID, UNICEF, udle/GTZ, UNV/UNDP. Rural Health Development Project (funded by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation-Nepal), Redd Barna/Nepal, Plan International/Nepal, Bridge Building at Local Level (funded by Helvetas/Nepal, Primary Health Care Project/GTZ, International Development Enterprise/Nepal, Intermediate Technology Development Group, Prodec/Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Small Business Promotion Project/GTZ.

More specifically, designed and implemented local level planning and management training (15-days-long; 22 events) that resulted in the implementation of more than 1000 self-help projects by the community; carried out full fledged Municipal Organization Development and Administration (MODA) program and follow-up programs especially on organizational structure improvement, human resource planning, job description etc; designed and carried out group strengthening (four- days-long each) training programs (more than 30 events); designed and carried out 25 training events on leadership and team building (five-days-long each); carried out area potential surveys, needs assessments, and designed and conducted more than 14 training programs (five week - long package each) on New Business Creation and produced marketing management trainers' manual. I am also a conflict-sensitive development guide responsible to design and conduct the conflict-sensitive development workshops for different DFID and GTZ funded projects in Nepal
